Shawna Shea International Film Festival

The Shawna Shea Film Festival is pleased to announce a pop-up sister festival of shorts to be screened at the International Golf Club and Resort in beautiful Bolton Massachusetts on Saturday May 19th.. Located in the Nashua River Valley surrounded by apple orchards and vineyards, there is no better place to celebrate spring with several blocks of short films.
We have a tremendous selection of shorts from local filmmakers and all over the world that will screen in the Conference Center. Filmmakers will be in attendance for a Q&A after each block and there will be an awards ceremony following the second block in the Pines Room located off the Fireplace Room Restaurant. There will be live music in the Fireplace Room following.
The all proceeds from the film festival will go to the Shawna E Shea Memorial Fund, Inc a 501(c)(3) public charity. The festival will take place on Saturday, May 19 at the International Golf Club and Resort, 159 Ballville Road, Bolton, MA 01740.

The mission of the Shawna E. Shea Memorial Foundation Inc. is to support young people, especially women, in filmmaking, performance arts and other artistic and cultural endeavors through financial assistance, collaborative fellowships, mentoring and educational opportunities. The Shea Family established the Foundation in memory of Shawna, a creative and artistic young woman who lost her life too soon and we strive to sustain her legacy of encouraging young people who live in the margins of society and yet have dreams and aspirations in the fields of film and performance arts.
